Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

CNBTrade ("CNBTrade", "we", "us") operates this trading journal service (the "Service"). If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at cnbtrades@gmail.com. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect two kinds of information:

Account information from Google Sign-In. When you log in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not request access to Gmail, Drive, or any other Google service.
Data you enter into the Service. This includes your trade entries, journal notes, tags, trading plan/rules, and any other content you create while using the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and secure your account, and keep you signed in.
Store and display the trading data you enter, to you only.
Process payment for paid subscriptions, once that feature is available (see Section 5).
Send you service-related messages — for example, a receipt or a reminder before a subscription renewal. We do not send marketing email.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data to serve ads.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your account and trading data are stored in Supabase (a hosted Postgres database, authentication, and storage provider). The Service itself is hosted on Vercel. Both providers are industry-standard infrastructure companies; we do not run our own servers.

Access to your data is restricted at the database level so that only your own signed-in account can read or write your rows — other users of the Service cannot see your data.

5. Who We Share Your Information With

Google — used only to authenticate you when you sign in. Governed by Google's own privacy policy.
NOWPayments — a third-party cryptocurrency payment processor. If you choose a paid plan, the payment details needed to process that payment (such as transaction and wallet information) are handled directly by NOWPayments, not stored by us.

We do not share your trading data, journal entries, or account information with any other third party, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the Service.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a session cookie set by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in. We also use your browser's local storage to remember your display preference (light or dark theme). Neither is used to track you across other websites.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your account and trading data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account (Section 8), we delete your data within a reasonable time, except where we're required to keep limited records (for example, payment records) for legal or accounting reasons. After an account is permanently deleted, we also keep its email address (in plain form and as a one-way hash) solely to prevent repeat free trials; it is not used for anything else.

8. Your Rights

You can access, export, or delete your personal data at any time. In Settings you can download a copy of your data and delete your account yourself. A deleted account is kept for a 3-day grace period, during which you can restore it, and is then permanently deleted. To correct your data, or if you need help with any of this, email cnbtrades@gmail.com from your account's email address and we will action your request.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and database-level access rules that restrict every user to their own data. No method of storing or transmitting data is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date above.

12. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
